I love this wonderfully sculptural aloe in bloom. Its tall inflorescence rises above the spiky leaves, covered in delicate tubular flowers that glow in the sunlight. Family portraits tend to be semi-formal to formal groups of people from 2 upwards. The most important setting for this is aperture. Aperture controls the depth of focus in a scene. With the smallest aperture (depends on your lens, it could be 4.5 or as low as 1.2) there is less in focus, allowing you to create a scene where the background is out of focus.
