For You
🎤 When choosing an outfit for your photoshoot, do you typically stick to your usual, comfortable style or do you see the photoshoot as an opportunity to try a new outfit or style?
For Me -
🎤 How do you approach photography for families vs. businesses?
Personally, photography has always been a balance of capturing personality and telling a story. When I am working with a business, my goal is to make the enviornment feel warm, inviting and approachable. I look for ambient light reflections and unique angles to showcase the craftsmanship the owners create in their space. I use this perspective with families too; to portray their best angles and family connections to create images highlighting where they radiate the most.
🎤 What should we wear if we want our family photos to look cohesive but not matching?
The days of everyone wearing matching white shirts and jeans are over! I always recommend choosing a cohesive color palette and then let everyone show their style within that family of colors! If you’re not sure where to start, pick a favorite outfit on a single family member and work through the other individuals from there. Mixing in different textures adds beautiful depth to the photos without looking forced. Check out our blog and Instagram to see examples!
